What kind of data will you receive from the LIBS scanner

GeologicAI’s state-of-the-art LIBS drill core scanner leverages advanced LIBS technology to provide high-precision elemental and mineralogical analyses of drill cores, unconsolidated materials, and hand samples. The resulting data is seamlessly delivered to your preferred platform — whether through secure cloud integration or alternative data-sharing solutions — ensuring efficient access and collaboration.

Mineral and Elemental Maps

GeologicAI delivers mineralogical maps, alteration maps, elemental combos, and static heat maps of elemental counts. Images can be imported via our API to image viewing tools such as IMAGO (Seequent).

Numerical Data

In addition to mineral and elemental heat maps, we provide the data in numerical format. Elemental and mineralogical quantifications, along with density estimates over pre-defined intervals. Intervals can be optimized according to your needs. This data can be imported into geological databases and geochemistry software such as ioGAS (Imdex Limited).

Metadata

Metadata includes information about the parameters used (e.g. scanning mode); information about the hardware and software configuration details (e.g. device number, UI version); information about the customer, site, and core boxes (from-to meters, core loss, etc.).
